Chinmaya Rath has over 25 years’ experience commercializing biotech start-ups from early discovery to launch and in-line marketing across US, Europe, and Asia. Chinmaya has extensive expertise in corporate strategy, business development, portfolio management, commercial launch, and business integration. He has successfully established an extensive network across Big Pharma and VC firms.

For more than a decade, Chinmaya has served in many leadership positions and strategic roles. As a venture partner with Social Impact Capital, he also serves on the board of CatenaBio and MentenAI. He was CBO at Glycomimetics, a late clinical-stage public biotech company. He was the Founder CEO of CelluRx, a stealth-mode company focused on re-defining the potential of cell therapies through a proprietary Gene Coding™ technology. He has led major US launches in both hematology (Tasigna® TFR, Ped) and solid tumors (Lynparza®-ovarian cancer, co-promotion with Merck). He has profound business acumen in oncology/hematology therapeutics and significant experience in leading high impact enterprise-wide strategic projects at Novartis.

Chinmaya holds a Bachelor of Life Science degree from Ravenshaw college, India, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Warwick Business School, UK.
