Requirements and Qualification:
- Very Good understanding on testing life cycle, testing types and test methods
- Experience in automation scripting and execution
- Strong understanding of the Automation Test Frameworks used. Flag impediments and suggest scope of improvements for the framework
- Adapt to the latest frameworks and contribute to automation scripting and execution
- Test Environment Setup as per ongoing projects
- Analyze, Review and understand software requirement for automation testability
- Establish and maintain a robust and scalable automation framework for UI, API and Database testing
- Adapt to the latest frameworks and contribute to automation scripting and execution.
- Familiar with using any test management and reporting tools Jira, Bugzilla, etc
- Able to recommend and implement effective tool usage
- Able to understand requirements and come up with test development and execution plan
- Able to support development team and refining test strategies for feature/product.
- Able to determine Test automation criteria and develop automation scripts
- Knowledge of API development would be helpful.
- Knowledge of web page development would be plus (e.g. AngularJS, Git, NodeJs)
- Knowledge of databases like MYSQL , NOSQL is desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team with data oriented personality
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or similar field; Master’s degree is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for test plan, test case development, automation and execution of test for one or more features assigned
Plan and prioritize task for himself
Responsible for implementing defined TDLC process Responsible executing release test plan and identifying gaps and addressing as required
Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect. Identify and carry our necessary test cases for defect verification
Develop missed test cases and update test cases as required and approved
